Can the device be used invasively?

Yes. The Life2000 Ventilation System has been FDA-cleared for invasive and non-invasive use. Review the specifications to understand the capabilities and limitations of the device when considering the Life2000 Ventilator for invasive use.

What pressure sources can be used with the LIFE2000 Ventilation System?

The Life2000 can use any 50 psi source, including wall-based oxygen supplies or oxygen cylinders.

How long is the LIFE2000's battery life?

In normal use, the battery's charge lasts approximately 5 to 6 hours.

What interface is available with the LIFE2000 Ventilation System?

The unit uses our mask-free Breathe Pillows Interface. It's available in four sizes—XS, S, M, and L. Additionally, a Universal Circuit Connector allows you to adapt the unit for use with other interfaces, including masks or endotracheal tubes.

What is PROPORTIONAL OPEN VENTILATION (POV) technology?

POV technology refers to the method used to ventilate the patient. The interfaces’ Venturi system entrains room air which, combined with the device's set volume and your patient's own effort, yields its total delivered tidal volume.
