This program is designed for individuals responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the facility’s Baxter equipment. Upon completion, the participant will have the product knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to keep the patient care areas functioning at their required levels.
After completing the course, the participant will receive a certificate of completion, indicating they are trained to repair and maintain the Connex® Spot Monitor (CSM). Recertification is required every two years.
Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a Gold License, Certificate of Completion and access to the training content for 2 years.
Participants are required to recertify every 2 years to maintain their Gold License, Certification status and access to the training content.
This course is intended for technical service personnel, including Biomedical Engineers and/or Facilities/Maintenance staff, that perform preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair for this Baxter product.
To enroll in this course, the following knowledge and/or pre-training is required. Participants must also have access to the equipment as follows:
Participants should have a working knowledge of microprocessor-based medical electronics servicing, and analog and digital electronics theory.
Participants will become capable of using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and rendering repairs to Connex® Spot Monitor (CSM). This eLearning course is designed to train Biomedical Equipment Technicians on servicing and maintaining this Connex® Spot Monitor (CSM). The course includes both theory and practical assignments.
