When it’s time to get your patient on their feet, invest in our Sit-to-Stand Vests with the Sabina lift to help support their upper body.

Intended for patients who can participate in the raising procedure, these vests help move them to a wheelchair, chair or toilet. This process also gives the patient standing practice in connection with the transfer. Each vest model fits in different ways—for example, under or outside the arms—so you can make the best choice for your patient.

Our Sit to Stand Patient Lift Options Include:

  • Solo SupportVest

  • SupportVest

  • SafetyVest

  • ComfortVest

SafetyVest Lift Aid

The SafetyVest is designed to help with patient support and stability. This sit-to-stand vest assists patients with poor stability who may have difficulty standing steadily, lifting in a self-regulating manner. This vest lifts around the back and under the arms, featuring a sewn-in waist belt and an inner lining to help prevent sliding.

Primarily used in combination with the Sabina sit-to-stand lift with a narrow sling bar (Sabina 350 SlingBar). The vest requires the use of two loops on each hook when attaching to the lift.

The SafetyVest is available in several sizes to accommodate different body types and  includes extra back support for patients needing additional stability.

Key Features:

  • Designed to Help Prevent Sliding: The inner lining and waist belt help keep the vest in place.

  • Multiple Sizes: Available in medium and large, the vest aims to provide a proper fit for various patient weights and body dimensions.

Solo SupportVest Lift Aid

Solo SupportVest

The Solo SupportVest is a sling designed for short-term, single-patient use (SPU), helps provide support during sit-to-stand transfers. This vest is suitable for patients who need assistance in standing up but can stand firmly on their own once upright.

Used in combination with the Sabina sit-to-stand lift with the 350 SlingBar (narrow), the Solo SupportVest lifts behind the back and under the arms. It is constructed from a non-washable, non-woven polypropylene material. The vest comes in two sizes, medium and large, to accommodate different patient needs.

Key Features:

  • Single patient use Design: The Solo SupportVest is intended for single-patient use and should be disposed of when soiled or no longer needed.

  • Supportive Lift: Lifts behind the back and under the arms, helping to provide support for patients who can stand steadily on their own once lifted.

  • Flexibility: Equipped with inner and outer strap loops to accommodate various patient sizes. The inner strap loops are generally recommended for a maximum upright standing position, enabling the patient to grasp the slingbar and participate actively in the lifting process.
