Course Description

This program is designed for individuals responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the facility’s Baxter equipment. Upon completion, the participant will return with the product knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to keep the patient care areas functioning at their required levels.

Certification Options

After completing the course, the participant will receive a certificate of completion, indicating they are trained to repair and maintain the VIKING lift series, GOLVO lifts, SABINA sit-to-stand lifts.  Recertification is required every two years after completing the Certification course.

This course is intended for technical service personnel, including Biomedical Engineers and/or Facilities/Maintenance staff, and Baxter Dealers that perform preventative maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and repair for this Baxter product.

To enroll in this course, the following knowledge and/or pre-training is required. Participants must also have access to the equipment as follows:

  • Product components and subsystems

Required Equipment and Documents

  • Access to facility product – recommended
  • Product Service Manual and Spare Parts Lists provided during training

 


Course Lessons & Content

Participants will become capable of using diagnostic tools for troubleshooting, conducting preventative maintenance, and rendering repairs to LIKO Mobile Patient Lifts. This 1-day training course is designed to train Biomedical Engineers and/or Facilities/Maintenance staff, and Baxter Dealers about servicing and maintaining the LIKO Mobile Patient Lifts.
